Hola Cariños,
I'm laying low, determined to finish the dissertation before starting a full-time job teaching performance at The Theater School of DePaul University. But I'm looking forward to the following events:

-The reading of Teatro Luna's new show, JARRED: A HOODOO COMEDY (by Tanya Saracho) at the Goodman Theater's Latino Theater Festival on August 13th. We'll open this show, all about santería, brujería, and hoodoo, for a full run on October 31st.

-The Latino Theater Festival in general! Oh my gosh - they have Culture Clash coming back this year, as well as my NUMBER ONE FAVOURITE PERFORMER OF ALL TIME: Marta Carrasco. I won't miss a second of any of her shows, so you know where to find me!

-Proyecto Latina - the third Monday of every month. I usually perform/read something here, and you should too! August's feature is Dawn Herrera Terry.
